Led Zeppelin foi formado em setembro de 1968, por Jimmy Page, John Bonham, John Paul Jones e Robert Plant. O grupo é um dos mais populares em toda a história do rock. Banda de caráter inovador, a banda incorporou elementos de outros gêneros como, reggae, jazz, funk, soul, rockabilly, entre outros. A morte do baterista John Bonham, em 1980, determinou o fim da banda, e a partir daí, o Led Zeppelin reuniu-se somente em ocasiões muito especiais.
